Strength When Heart and Body Are Tired
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." — Psalm 73:26
Written by Asaph, one of David's worship leaders. He had been struggling honestly, watching people who ignore God seem to prosper while he suffered. In God's presence his perspective steadied, and this verse is his conclusion: even when body and heart give out, God Himself is his strength and his share.
